Help is always Appreciated!
We invite you to sponsor an incredible, inclusive community event to benefit The Arc of Anchorage and those we serve, Alaskans who experience disabilities. We are excited to bring back this event for 2022, and we anticipate a crowd of 700-1,000 children and families on our campus. We hope you will share the joy of coming together in person after a long year for our community and kids. Below are details of the event and how your business or organization can get involved this year.
WHAT?!
Trunk-or-Treat is an annual fundraising event hosted by The Arc of Anchorage and is open to the public. We give families a safe and accessible trick-or-treating experience, walking from car to car in our secure pedestrian-only parking lot. Trunks of vehicles are decorated in different themes, and volunteers pass out candy or prizes at every trunk. We will also have games, music, a petting zoo, local food trucks, and more.
WHERE?!
The Arc of Anchorage campus is located at 2211 Arca Drive, off Northern Lights between Bragaw and UAA Drive. Additional parking will be available onsite and next door at Whaley School, Salvation Army, and Assets.
WHY?!
Funds raised at the 2022 Trunk-or-Treat event will benefit The Arc of Anchorage’s programs for individuals in our community who experience disabilities at all stages of life. Our programs include Supported Employment, residential homes, Sparc, our on-campus art studio, and other community-based services. The event is open to the public and fully inclusive, so individuals who experience mobility challenges can join in all the fun.

HOW?!
- Sponsors help an event be successful and provide your business a fun opportunity to show your support for the community. On the next page, a variety of sponsorship opportunities are listed. Choose one, complete the sponsorship form with payment, and The Arc of Anchorage will provide you with a tax-deductible receipt upon request.
- Donations of candy are also needed! Due to allergy and safety concerns, all candy must be peanut/nut-free. Candy must be individually wrapped or packaged for the safety of all our trunk-or-treaters. During the event, we give hundreds of pounds of candy away, and candy donations are a great way to contribute. Cash donations are also welcome. Your donation is tax-deductible, and your business will be included in our event day flier.
- Volunteer! Businesses and organizations are also invited to be trunk hosts and volunteer for various shifts – families are welcome to volunteer together! Click HERE to download our sponsorship form.
